Help!
I am fairly new to SoundCheck. I was setting up new limits, and have measured rub and buzz results from a transducer which crossed the limit into the fail area. However my overall test and individual results show a 'Pass" result.
What can I do? This transducer clearly fails, it is readily audible.

Does anybody have any good technniques or procedures for managing/updating dynamic limits? If I have limit curves saved in .DAT format is there a way to update those or do I have to create a new curve from scratch and save it as the old name?

Question:
How can I have negative X-Axis values for a Limit curve? I'm setting limits on amplitude sweep data and my X-Axis has a range of -50 to 0 dBPa. I can type in these values for my x-axis, but when I hit "Apply" the values all change to NaN. What's going on?
Answer:
Look at the "Linear/Log" radio button on the "Parameters" tab...

Question: What happened to the "Test" button? I used to use it all the time to see how "Floating Limits would get applied to data.
Answer: It was replaced by the new (and improved) "Apply" button. Apply has all the functionality of the the old "Test" button, but it also updates the step's Result and Data and/or Limit Curves on the Memory List.

Question: I want to create a user-defined upper limit curve, then easily create a lower limit curve with the same points, offset by 3dB. How can I copy/paste and offset curves in the Limits Editor?
Answer: - Type in a series of values for the upper limit
- Highlight those cells and then Right Click on them.
- Select Copy Data
- Click...
