Upcoming Trade Shows:
AES
(Audio Engineering Society) 125th Convention
October 3-6, 2008
Moscone Center, San Francisco
Booth #620
We will be demonstrating the new release of SoundCheck® 8.0, our popular audio test system for measuring loudspeakers, headphones, microphones, telephones, MP3 players, amplifiers, mixers, sound cards and other transducers and audio electronic devices. Version 8.0 contains many new features including expanded printing and reporting capabilities, a new calibration database, improved sequence editing, and many new or improved algorithms. Read all about it in the SoundCheck 8.0 New Features flyer.
At AES, we will be showing how SoundCheck can be used to test all the audio elements of a cellphone, including the speaker, microphone, headphones, bluetooth and even the MP3 player, as well as testing the telephone to TIA standards. All the specialist algoritms and sequences that are needed for this are integrated into SoundCheck, or can be purchased as pre-written sequences, so no programming is required!
We will be demonstrating high speed testing of a mixing board, testing all the channels simultanously using the multichannel version of SoundCheck with an 8 channel RME Fireface soundcard.
We will also show how easy it is to get up and running with SoundCheck, using the sequence editor to create a sequence for measuring a loudspeaker in a matter of minutes.
Also on the booth will be SoundMap, Listen's time frequency analysis software which It is ideal for impulse response analysis and detection of loose particles and Rub & Buzz in loudspeakers and for identification of transient effects such as drop out in digital devices including VoIPand Bluetooth headsets.
