This this 45-minute Web Event on electro-acoustic
and audio electronics test demonstrates test and design
engineers doing anything from amplifier quality assurance
(QA) to cell phone production quality control (QC) using
Listen, Inc.'s SoundCheck software and the NI PXI-4461.
Find out how to enable rapid characterization of prototypes
by performing comprehensive tests such as frequency response,
phase, sensitivity, distortion, directivity, impedance,
rub and buzz, and Thiele-Small parameters in a matter of
seconds.
Electroacoustic test company Listen, Inc has partnered with National Instruments to offer SoundCheck 6 Lab, a high-end precision audio test system. The system consists of SoundCheck, Listen's established PC -based electroacoustic measurement software and National Instrument's newest dynamic signal acquisition module, the PXI-4461. This high- end system is ideal for R&D and production line testing of audio electronics such as amplifiers, crossovers and signal processors, in addition to loudspeakers, microphones and other transducers.
The system with the new NI acquisition board offers the high precision demanded by the audio electronics industry including an extremely flat frequency response and very low noise floor. In addition it offers integrated electronic piezoelectric (IEPE) conditioning for microphones and accelerometers, and programmable input attenuators. It covers an input range from 316mV to 42.4V and offers both AC and DC coupling.
