We Listen to our customers. And that's why we created SoundConnect, the first microphone power supply and amplifier designed to achieve optimum performance from today's and yesterday's high quality measurement microphones and audio instrumentation.

Many of today's PC-based audio analyzers, using PC-card interfaces, have a limited dynamic range. SoundConnect can extend the dynamic range of your measurement system by as much as 80 dB from 2.5 Vrms to 50 Vrms while protecting your valuable data acquisition board and PC from excessively high voltages. In addition, you get more than just an overload indicator, you get an indication of the level of your signal so that you can adjust the gain for optimum signal to nois.

The cascading of attenuator and amplifier stages ensures good amplification linearity with a minimum of noise and distortion. This is particularly useful for measuring low sensitivity microphones, self-noise, and transducer distortion.

Microphone preamplifiers with the traditional B&K 7-pin socket and the newer 7-pin LEMO (optional) are fully supported so that your investment in old and new preamplifiers is not sacrificed. For your convenience, there are two output connectors, a standard BNC on the front panel as well as a high quality RCA phono connector on the rear panel.

SoundConnect comes in a rugged all metal enclosure which can either stand up on its side or lay down flat.
