Virtual Audio Test Bench
Traditional methods for making audio measurements involve several dedicated
instruments; a sine generator to provide the excitation signal, a tracking
filter/voltmeter to measure the output from the DUT, and finally a level
recorder to provide a hard copy printout of the test results. SoundCheck
provides the same functionality as these instruments but in a computerized
or "virtual" environment.
SoundCheck's™ virtual test bench includes a Signal
Generator, Multimeter, Oscilloscope, FFT
Analyzer, and true Realtime Analyzer. The
Signal Generator can operate as a standalone instrument
or in conjunction with the other instruments. Sinusoidal signals as
well as complex signals (white and pink noise, artificial speech, noise
bursts, multi-tone, etc.) can be used as stimuli.
