If you want your current display configuration to remain intact during sequence editing and sequence runs, you can lock it. When a display is locked, the layout cannot be changed in any way. Simply click the padlock icon in the memory list to lock and unlock the display. The padlock is green when the display is unlocked and red when locked.

The display lock affects all displays in all sequences. Display elements cannot be closed or resized, and the minimize and maximize buttons are removed from the display headers. New displays can be opened, but any changes to the displays are not saved.

This prevents you from closing the displays and is useful for maintaining your layout during editing and testing. The lock is always on for Technician and Operator access; only users with Engineer level access have the option of toggling the lock on and off.
