Offline analysis lets you run a quick analysis or further processing on data that you have already captured and saved. This has many applications, for example:
- If your tests have changed and you want to compare results to previously measured products
- To run SoundCheck’s advanced algorithms on data collected by other test systems
- Detailed engineering analysis of production line data collected on a different computer to understand failure modes
- During test development, to evaluate different analysis methods, windowing times, or other parameter changes on the same data to identify which measurements and parameters will best identify certain issues.
- one time analysis or processing of data, for example calculating the average of two saved curves.
- quick offline statistical analysis.
In offline mode, you can apply any operation available in a sequence as a stand-alone step without having to use or write a test sequence. This includes limits, post processing, displays, statistical analysis and more, making offline analysis an extremely powerful tool. Offline processing results can be saved to the memory list for easy display and comparison with saved or live data.
